Henderson Hall’s National Capital Region
Volunteer Program

Beyond the Gates Volunteer Program offers Marines/Navy, civilian Marines/Navy, and their family members the opportunity to give back to their community in the National Capital Region and be recognized at our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held in April during National Volunteer Appreciation Month.

Volunteer for Impact: Demonstrate the power of citizens actively engaged in changing our community by serving in the National Capital Region. There are endless volunteer opportunities that await your expertise. Click here to view current opportunities.

New Technology Advances in Volunteering: To realize this new vision and to achieve these goals, Beyond the Gates now uses a new Volunteer Tracking Tool, where you can log on to the MCCS website, click the MC Family Team Building Volunteer Link, create an account, [user name and password] and begin searching for countless volunteer opportunities within the National Capital Region. You can also log in your own hours and trace the status of your daily, weekly, and monthly community service.  Current volunteers click here to log in hours and track time.

What We Do At Beyond the Gates: We ensure that there are volunteer and community participation opportunities for Marine/Navy, Civilian Marine/Navy, and their families throughout the National Capital Region. We empower and train our volunteers to create “real-time” community relationships. The program also supports emerging new businesses and entrepreneurial ventures through partnership and collaboration that advance a variety of forms of civic engagement Contact us today and ask how you can become involved!
