Zembiec Pool is a 25 yard pool with the capability of up to six lap lanes. The depth begins at 4 feet and end at 11½ feet. The pool is free and open to active duty military personnel and their family members, retirees and their family members, and DOD civilians and their family members. We have kickboards, pull buoys, noodles, toys for kids, basketball net with balls, Coast Guard Approved lifejackets, lounge chairs, and changing rooms with showers and lockers. We do not provide towel service, and we ask that you do not leave personal items in the lockers overnight due to the limited number.
The Zembiec Pool is a year round facility. During the winter, patrons must enter the pool through the airlock door in the main lobby. We ask that patrons close one door before opening the next when entering the pool, as the dome is kept inflated with air and we don't want it to deflate. The air temperature on deck is typically 80 degrees Fahrenheit and the water is heated to between 80 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Only the main pool is enclosed, and there are chairs and tables available inside for patrons. The dome remains up until a week before Memorial Day, when the pool opens for the summer season. If you have any more questions, please contact the pool.
