“We will ensure that Marines, Sailors and their families have availability and access to quality facilities and support programs, as well as resources and benefits that provide a quality standard of living. This same effort will be applied equally to our single Marines, who make up half of our Corps.”

Unit, Personal & Family Readiness Program – Training

Those interested in being a part of the Unit, Personal & Family Readiness Program (UPFRP) and volunteering for their unit can do so in three different capacities:
  • Command Team Advisor: Provide family insight regarding UPFRP and family well being through advocacy and support of their unit’s program and through mentorship

  • Family Readiness Assistant: Supports and assists the Family Readiness Officer (FRO) through administrative tasks and information and referral services

  • General Volunteer: Assists in planning, coordination, and execution of unit training events, unit Family Readiness events and morale support events
Command Team Advisors and Family Readiness Assistants come highly recommended by the command, and once selected the Family Readiness Officer (FRO) will register those persons for the next available training date. If you are interested in supporting your UPFRP, contact your FRO or the Family Readiness Program Trainer today!
