Monday, September 1 • Labor Day federal holiday


  • MCCS Henderson Hall hours of operation for the Labor Day federal holiday are as follows: the Marine Corps Exchange and The Vineyard Wine & Spirits open 10 AM – 6 PM. The American Clipper Barber Shop opens 11 AM – 3 PM. The Java Café opens 10 AM – 4 PM. The Cpl. Terry L. Smith Gymnasium opens 7:30 AM – 3 PM. The Zembiec Pool opens 11 AM – 4 PM. All other MCCS activities are closed, except the car wash, open 24 hours a day. The car wash is expected to be re-opened after a construction project.

  • MCCS Henderson Hall announces the grand opening of the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) Henderson Hall third floor addition and Navy Exchange (NEX) Uniform Center. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Tuesday, September 9, at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the event and enjoy refreshments afterward. There will be giveaways and drawings for products, including electronics, cookware, and apparel. The store is located on the Henderson Hall portion of Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.
