Greetings!
Greetings from the staff at The Vineyard Wine & Spirits, your premium outlet for fine beverages and cigars at MCCS Henderson Hall. Summer weather is upon us, and we'd like to remind you that The Vineyard has a variety of beverages to quench your thirst. We're more accessible now, with the opening of the front parking lot of the Marine Corps Exchange. Back parking lot coming soon!
Thanks to all our patrons who attended the Wine Festival—our third annual, on May 14. We had a steady crowd all day, and the Vineyard vendors were pleased to visit with so many of you!
In June, we'll have another opportunity to taste in the great outdoors at the American Summer BBQ Expo on Saturday, June 11. Please see the Divisional Sales Manager's notes, below, and plan to join us for tastings, 11 AM – 1 PM.
Our featured item this month is Premium Blend Choco Noir, pairing rich chocolate with delicate Pinot Noir. Sweet wines may be making a comeback, creating new opportunities for farmers and vintners. Expect to see more producers coming out with new blends of sweet wines. Want a taste? Join us on June 17 and sample this new Premium Blend Choco Noir, a rich combination of chocolate and wine.
Lastly, a bit of news. In late June, Gate 1 will close for renovation. Fort Myer is upgrading all Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall gates, and our Gate 1 is scheduled to close June 29 through September 5. During that time, please use Gate 3, across from the Navy Annex, which will be open 24/7. We greatly appreciate your patience as construction continues.

From the Divisional Sales Manager— The Vineyard staff and I cordially invite you to visit with us on Saturday, June 11, 11 AM - 1 PM, in front of the Marine Corps Exchange. The annual American Summer BBQ Expo featuring the World of Weber, will be set up in front of the Marine Corps Exchange.
